Care built around the whole you
Outpatient psychiatric care for adolescents and adults — delivered by secure telehealth anywhere in Washington State.
Diagnostic Evaluation
The right treatment starts with the right diagnosis. Years of frustration often trace back to a diagnosis that was rushed or simply wrong — depression that's actually bipolar spectrum, "ADHD" that's really sleep deprivation or anxiety. Your comprehensive evaluation is an unhurried look at your symptoms, history, and physical health, so treatment is aimed at the real problem from day one.
Medication Management
Integrative psychiatric medication management for people establishing outpatient care — or switching to a provider who takes the time to explain options. We weigh benefits and side effects together, build a realistic medication plan, and adjust it based on how you actually respond.
Medication Taper & Deprescribing
More medication isn't always the answer. If a medication is no longer helping, causing side effects that outweigh its benefit, or you simply want to try living with less, we help you come off it safely and deliberately. Stopping psychiatric medications too quickly can trigger withdrawal that's often mistaken for relapse — so we use slow, individualized tapering (including hyperbolic dose reductions), adjust the pace to your body's response, and support the process with sleep, nutrition, and nervous-system skills that make it more tolerable.
Add-On Psychotherapy
Medication works best when it isn't the only tool. Supportive psychotherapy — including CBT-informed strategies and motivational interviewing — is woven into visits, giving you space to process what's happening and build coping skills that hold up in daily life.
Integrative & Functional Approaches
A root-cause lens that considers how physical health, sleep, hormones, nutrition, inflammation, and stress can worsen or mimic psychiatric symptoms. Where appropriate, care may include targeted supplements, adaptogens, nootropics, and evidence-based non-medication treatments.
Metabolic Psychiatry
An emerging, evidence-informed field connecting mental health to brain energy and metabolism — pioneered by researchers like Harvard's Dr. Christopher Palmer. We assess metabolic contributors to psychiatric symptoms (blood sugar, insulin resistance, inflammation, sleep) and, when appropriate, use nutrition strategies — including ketogenic-informed approaches — movement, and practical behavioral recommendations alongside standard treatment.
Genetic & Functional Testing
When medications haven't worked — or you want a smarter starting point — pharmacogenomic (genetic) testing shows how your body metabolizes psychiatric medications, helping us choose options more likely to work with fewer side effects. We may also use functional lab work (thyroid, vitamins, hormones, inflammation markers) to uncover hidden drivers of symptoms.
Faith-Integrated Care (Optional)
For patients who want it, we're glad to weave your faith into treatment — including Christian care: prayer, scripture-informed perspectives on suffering and hope, and goals that honor your convictions. This is always optional and always patient-led: we ask, we never assume. Patients of every faith and of no faith receive the same respectful, evidence-based care.
Ongoing Care
Mental health is not a one-visit fix. Regular follow-ups help you keep building momentum — refining your plan, celebrating progress, and catching setbacks early. We also coordinate with your therapist or primary care provider when helpful.
Care After Higher Levels of Treatment
Stepping down from a partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient program? We help you continue whole-person care and keep the momentum you've built — with a smooth, supported transition to outpatient treatment.
We flip the treatment pyramid
Most psychiatric care treats sleep, nutrition, and movement as an afterthought. The emerging science of metabolic psychiatry — championed by researchers like Harvard's Dr. Christopher Palmer — suggests they belong at the foundation. When the standard playbook hasn't been enough, we're willing to think outside the box.
Same building blocks — reordered. The research is most compelling exactly where conventional care struggles most: early clinical trials in bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and treatment-resistant depression. It's one reason we welcome patients navigating psychosis, schizophrenia, and substance use concerns — emerging treatments, always alongside proven ones.
